Good news – since you already have a Netflix account, all you need is the free Netflix app to accompany it. Once you download that on your iPad and add your username/password, you're ready to watch movies at no additional cost.

A couple quick tips:

+ Just like with YouTube videos, the movies stream over the Internet — nothing downloads on your iPad. That means you'll need a solid Internet connection (wifi works great!), and you won't be able to download movies to play later when you have no Internet. I haven't tried it on a 3G model, so unfortunately I can't say how the streaming quality is over 3G.

+ Any interaction you do with the Netflix app gets saved in your normal account — you can add movies to your queue, play movies from your queue, etc. — and the changes show up next time you log into your account from a computer. The only major bug I've noticed is you can't really rate movies.

This site has unlimited IPad downloads such as Novels, Comics, Newspapers, etc. I believe it is a one time fee and then you have access to books,etc legally! It also works with the IPod Touch and IPhone.

To date there are a few places where you can get ebooks. They are not FREE but at the price it is ALMOST free.

myPadMedia is a good option. I did not believe that I could get unlimited ebooks for $49.95 until I tried it myself. It is good, you get good titles and you don't have to pay $12.00 plus a book like they charge in the iBookstore.

PS What genre of books do you prefer? They do have a wide selection and I am sure that you will find something that suits you. I like a lot of romance, sci-fiction, thrillers and mystery and it was good to see that they had popular titles in these categories. They do have a lot of comics if that is your thing.

Mypadmedia has a HUGE selection. And you will save a LOT of money in the long run.
